Performance Analysis of Renewable Integrated UPQC

The enhancement in electric power quality using a single-stage solar PV integrated Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) has been discussed this paper. UPQC is the combination of Distributed static compensator (DSTATCOM) and Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) having common DC voltage supply link. DSTATCOM compensates for load current associated problems like factor improvement, even odd harmonics elimination etc. Also, it performs additional work transferring from system to distribution system. DVR voltage-associated source sag, swell, distortion. Discussed with distributed generation works on modified synchronously rotating reference frame theory. With help system, two outcomes are achieved such as clean renewable energy enhancement. designed MATLAB Simulink environment then performance verified Real-Time Digital Simulator (OPAL-RT OP4510) Software Loop Simulation (SIL) Hardware (HIL) platforms.
